BANGSAMORO LEARNERS GET FOOD PACKS
TO HELP learners remain healthy, the Bangsamoro Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education will provide food to thousands of students in the region for four months.
The delivery of food ration is part of the implementation of the School-Based Feeding Program.
The ministry said that 160,000 students will be given food packs for 120 days.
It initially planned to provide meals to students but this was changed to food packs because of the pandemic.
Each package contains mung beans, anchovies, carrots, and oranges.
“As the education ministry strives to attain access to quality education in the region, it is also a driving force to ensure that Bangsamoro learners are healthy and well-nourished,” the MBHTE said.
